One of the most difficult exercises is to name the shareholders in your life’s company. Who is your CEO, who is the main shareholder, who owns the majority or just how many shares do you own. Some people don’t even include themselves as shareholder.
So often I get to invite people who share with me their most difficult experiences to reflect upon the emotions that get to take over their life course. I ask them to allow and then to accept what lies behind their most important decisions or behind their reactions to those around them. To find out if they live in fear, denial, love or acceptance and if there is anything they would do differently or if they really want to change their lives. The way we daily choose to live our life determines our future, not just immediate actions, but the way we let life flow from now onwards.
One of the most efficient exercises to life-changing experiences is Mindfulness. Being able to choose the Now moment and let the energy of past take its place and the future easily unfold.
When a huge gap is created between mind, soul and body, between what we think and how we act, between emotions and facts, the ability to create the stillness of the mind becomes vital. Day to day life should not be a battle between fear – from the primordial one, to the fear of ourselves and dream – wishing, hoping, dreaming. This would be living within the 4 walls of our own mind, between the monsters we then create and not seeing clearly the true simple reality.
Through awareness we can make our life choices based on strong personal values, discovering the strength of our innate nature, of love and joy, bringing positive changes that lead to personal freedom and to the good of all around. This should be our most intriguing journey …
